2 lbs chop meat (made 4 large burgers)
8 oz mushrooms, sauteed (don't over cook since they will cook on the grill)
1/4 cup chopped onion
1 tbs butter
1/2 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
4 slices American Cheese
1. Melt butter in fry pan.
2. Saute mushroom and onions (onion ring recipe is below - these onions are for the inside of the burgers) DO NOT saute too much since they will cook more on the grill!
3. Split patties in half and fill inside with mushroom, onions and cheese.
4. Season patties with adobo, salt, pepper and any marinade you choose. I used Mr. Yoshida sauce.
5. BBQ burgers and buns - add the toppings of your choice.
The onion ring recipe was from The Pioneer Woman - I highly recommend making these to anyone! I cooked them in my new deep fryer for a few minutes.
