Oster 3 Liter Professional Deep Fryer & Oster 6 cup Glass Jar Blender

My two new additions to the kitchen. I will soon be able to review both of them, but currently I have not gotten to use either one. I've been wanting a deep fryer for a few things: Fried mac and cheese balls, homemade crab rangoons, Fish n' chips, & Kevin's fried chicken wings.
The internet is an amazing review tool - we did a lot of research on many different deep fryers.. all of which had GOOD and BAD reviews. The one we seemed confident on was the Oster 3 Liter, sold at Target for about $40. It was big enough to use for many different things and seems to get up to desired temperatures - something other deep fryers had complaints about. Looking forward to experimenting on this very soon.

The Oster 6 cup Glass Jar blender has 7 speeds on it. The top of the cover comes with a 2 oz measuring cup which I assume would be good as a shot measurer when making Margaritas, etc. My main goal of buying this blender was for a Ginger sauce we love to make. My litter chopper just wasn't getting it done! Also looking forward to making fruit smoothies and Sofrito (for Spanish dishes).
Purchased this from Costco for $34, online I saw it go as high as $60-70 so I think we got a good deal.

  1. A southern favorite, bone-in pork chops are simply seasoned, breaded and deep fried. Super yummy when served with a peppered milk gravy or a drizzle of honey mustard meat sauce. Wilma Aguilar
